AmeriCorps Seniors Foster Grandparent Program – Laramie Project Coordinator
Description: ​Foster Grandparents of the Wyoming Rockies is the sister organization to Feeding Laramie Valley and has the mission to foster a healthy and productive community through cultivating mentoring relationships between caring elders and children. Forging meaningful connections with our seniors, and facilitating their success is at the forefront of our small team’s mission. Our work environment values diversity and team support with an underlying mission and philosophy that is deeply committed to equity and inclusion for all program participants, volunteers, and staff members. A primary goal for this position will be to build back our volunteer base of dedicated senior volunteers, supervise and train them to be successful at their volunteer site while supporting general program operations.
Details: This part-time (20 hours/week; $20/hour) and flexible position has great benefits including 12 paid vacations/year, generous PTO, and July off.
